(Program Schedule)

LocalLINC is the local cable channel available to most Arvig Digital TV subscribers on channel 14. Viewers can watch school sports, concerts and performances, civic meetings, church services, and student-produced programs.

LocalLINC broadcasts non-profit display messages for the community and paid advertisements including:

  • Benefits/Fundraisers
  • City Meetings and Announcements
  • Funeral Announcements
  • Community Information
  • School Activity Calendars

LocalLINC Submission Guidelines:

The following guidelines will be followed for all content submitted for consideration of on-air play:
  • LocalLINC is operated by Arvig and staffed by its employees. Programs aired on LocalLINC do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of Arvig employees and management, and will be noted as such.
  • Acceptable program formats are VHS or DVD. Contact LocalLINC before supplying alternate formats; additional charges may apply for file conversion.

Anyone submitting a program for airing must provide the following information:

  1. Title of program
  2. Date of taping
  3. Running time of program
  4. Contact name and phone number

Anyone submitting a program for airing may be asked to sign a form:

  1. Acknowledging that submitting a program gives LocalLINC ownership of said program
  2. Acknowledging that LocalLINC is not liable for anything in relation to the program
  3. Verifying that the program content is not obscene or indecent
  4. Verifying that the program content does not infringe on any copyright or trademark protections.
  • Any person or group submitting a program assumes responsibility for program content.
  • Final decisions on airing will be made by LocalLINC staff, including:
  1. Scheduled airtime of program (every effort will be made to honor requests)
  2. Editing of program for quality or length
  • LocalLINC reserves the right to deny airtime of submitted programming.
  • Submitted programs must not contain advertising of any kind.
  • LocalLINC reserves the right to incorporate advertising of channel sponsors before, during or after program airtimes.
  • For-profit groups or businesses can purchase advertising space. Please contact LocalLINC for further information.

Political campaigning:

  1. Airtime can be purchased to run political advertising.
  2. Airtime will be offered to any opposing political party or candidate at equal rate and time.
  3. LocalLINC reserves the right to refuse airtime to all political parties and candidates equally.

Non-Profit Announcements:

  • Non-profit groups may submit their announcements and the LocalLINC team will design and place the information at no cost.
  • Slides for non-profit groups announcing meetings, activities, events, etc… will air on LocalLINC around scheduled programming during the airtimes specified on the station’s schedule.
  • LocalLINC staff will make every effort to honor requests; however final decisions for design and air schedule are made by the LocalLINC team.
  • The ad will run a minimum of 1 week prior to the event occurring.
  • LocalLINC will not discriminate based on race, sex or creed, however LocalLINC does reserve the right to censor content for appropriateness.
